Since we got the band back on track in September '14 after a 18 month break we've enjoyed a great time travelling around playing to old friends and meeting new ones.
During the time away from Glasnevin, Conor enjoyed a few months in Spain with Alan and Pat of Shebeen, Kieran toured around Ireland, Scotland and England with the two Tony's in the Spirit of Freedom, and Chris. . . well, Chris just about graced every band in Glasgow!
But, now we're back together playing, we've experimented with new sounds, new instruments, new arrangements and we're putting a plan together for the future for a new album with some original material. Always trying to keep the sound fresh and relevant.
So we're back playing in the usual haunts and diving into every nook and cranny both sides of the Irish Sea for sessions with Italy this year being added to the list of countries we've played and plans afoot for a mini tour Down Under as well!
So, hopefully we'll see you all somewhere down the line.
With the 5th anniversary of the first gig coming in March, here's to the next 5 years! Fanacht Beo!
